La Quinta California’s SilverRock Resort – America’s Greatest Public Golf Facility

La Quinta California is a popular destination for recreation. The region is also known as one of the best places in the Western United States to go if you are a golfer. The city of La Quinta has a wonderful secret concealed within it. The SilverRock Resort offers a public golf course that offers some of the finest play in the area at prices that simply cannot be beat.

The Course

Before you start thinking that something public cannot possibly be as good as a private course, consider what SilverRock has to offer. Currently, there are 18 holes of championship level golf. Another 18 hole SilverRock course has been designed but not built. The SilverRock course has hosted the Bob Hope Classic and is considered one of Arnold Palmer’s best golf course designs.

You’ll find that SilverRock sprawls across an incredible amount of land. There are a total of 200 acres of land dedicated to the initial 18 hole golf course. 7,578 yards are accounted for when you play the back tees. When you are out on the course, you will be able to see the beautiful Santa Rosa Mountains and the beautiful flora that characterizes the La Quinta area.

Golf instruction is available for those who want to improve their game. All of the instructors are PGA certified and private lessons are available. Anybody from a complete beginner to a very advanced player can get lessons at SilverRock.

The SilverRock Resort

SilverRock is undergoing development and is becoming a fine resort in addition to an excellent golf course. The hotel will feature all of the amenities that one would expect from a luxury establishment. You will be provided with a spa, a fitness center and, of course, immediate access to the golf course itself. The hotel is also being provided with a restaurant and a bar where people can go to relax. Resorts on golf courses are always popular for business meetings and, to accommodate such clients, the hotel will be provided with a top-notch conference center, as well.
