Come to class at least 3 times a week ! We have a full schedule of classes-no reason to keep from your work-out!


Get adequate recovery time between workouts. You will feel more energized and the body will have time to recuperate if you give your body a rest.


Shift your focus from the scale to consistency and willingness to try new challenges in class.


Don't cut calories too severely to get the scale to budge. You risk putting your body into starvation mode and that will actually slow your metabolism.


Switch from 3 regular meals a day to six smaller ones. Spreading your calories throughout the day prevents you from overeating and keeps your blood sugar level.


Eat low-fat dairy products. Recent research from the Nutrition Institute at the University of Tennessee indicates that calcium helps burn fat and dairy products are an excellent source of calcium. Women in the study who were dieting and had 3-4 servings of one-percent milk and low-fat yogurt and cheese reduced body fat up to 70 per cent.


Get plenty of sleep. Skimping on sleep may hinder your weight-loss efforts.At the 2004 annual meeting of the North American Association for the Study of Obesity, researchers from Columbia Univ in New York reported a correlation between obesity and lack of sleep.
